CBO: Eight Years of Iraq War Cost Less Than Stimulus Act Obama blames economy on the cost of the war in Iraq. But he spent more than the cost of eight years of war in ten minutes with a stroke of the pen.
Bush Lied About Giving Up Golf,
Obama swings it to play even more golf than Bush (and
all in less than a year in office)
October Deadliest Month in Afghanistan in 8 Years When Bush was President, 5% joblessness was the worst ecconomy since the Great Depression, but now . . . Get used to 10% Higher jobless rates could be new normal By TOM RAUM, Associated Press Writer Tom Raum, Associated Press Writer – Mon Oct 19, 2:29 pm ET WASHINGTON – Even with an economic revival, many U.S. jobs lost during the recession may be gone forever and a weak employment market could linger for years. That could add up to a "new normal" of higher joblessness and lower standards of living for many Americans, some economists are suggesting. The words "it's different this time" are always suspect. But economists and policy makers say the job-creating dynamics of previous recoveries can't be counted on now. So get used to it, it's the new norm. Yet in August 2008, when Bush was president, 5.7% unemployment was "another day of grim news" Jobless rate climbs as 51,000 jobs vanish AP Online | August 1, 2008| JEANNINE AVERSA | Copyright Stores, factories and other businesses large and small showed workers the door last month, sending unemployment to its highest rate in four years and adding to the evidence an economic recovery remains far off. Employers clamped down on hiring and cut 51,000 jobs in July, the Labor Department said Friday. The economy has shed jobs each month this year _ 463,000 in all. The unemployment rate rose to 5.7 percent, up from 5.5 percent in June. The jobs report contributed to another day of grim news for the economy. General Motors reported a staggering quarterly loss of more than ... So, let's see. In August 2008 5.7% unemployment was 'another grim day' but in October 2009, 10% is just 'the new norm'.
Chicago Sun Times Says It's Bush's Fault
I didn't know if this should go under State Run Media, Keep Hate Bush Alive or You Can't Make This Stuff Up.
Jobless Rate Rises to an Unexpected At What Point Will it No Longer Be "Unexpected "? Ever notice how every story about the economy is "unexpected"? Government Supports Arts: Uses Taxpayer's Money Our Money to Further Whitehouse Agenda
Why not? If we're paying artists to make art, why not have that art support the agenda?
On the Home Page of CNN.com Yet nowhere to be found is a story of the Senate's vote 83-7 to withhold funding from ACORN Reaction to the President's Speech to School Children The Washington Post suggests the speech was carefully staged for the president's political benefit. "The White House turned ... classroom[s] into a television studio and its students into props" Richard Gephardt, former House Majority Leader said "And the president should be doing more about education than saying, 'Lights, camera, action'." Oh, wait. That wasn't about Obama speaking to school children, that was about when President George H. Bush did it in 1991. Read all about it by Byron York at WashingtonExaminer.com . ![]() |
Obamamagic!![]() Watch him turn the "Bush Tax Cuts for the Rich" into the "Obama Tax Cuts for Everybody" So let's see if I got this straight. Bush lowered taxes, that is going to sun-set at the end of the year, Obama aggress to continue them, and that's a cut. Huh? They can call it the Obama Tax Cut, but guess what? Your taxes are not going down. Hey I guess that is an Obama tax cut. An Obama tax cut is where you pay the same amount. Dems Lose the House Obama Still Blames Bush "2 unfunded wars and unfunded tax cuts" So how come Obama quadrupled the deficit Bush left, and what did we get for it?
Obama Announces The War is Over! Calls Bush to say "Na, na, na, na naaa!" Still against the surge.

Mayor Bloomberg loses 25% of annual income in lost bet Money Woes Changed Shahzad, Friend Says. It must be Bush's fault:he couldn't get affwordable housing. Social Security to Pay Out More Than it Takes in This Year Oh my God! Why didn't George Bush do something to fix it? While all other countries fly their flags at their compounds, we don't want Haitians to think we are an occupying force. We want them to be assured that we will let them have the same corrupt government that has kept them in poverty and allowed such poor building standards that resulted in so much devastation from the quake. Biden & Obama Inherited This Victory
Biden, and "the first, sort of, mainstream African America" President fought tooth and nail to support the surge and General Petraeus. They fought that idiot Bush and Biden had to 'shove it down his throat', but now . . . wait a minute. When he says "this could be one of the great achievements of this administration" he doesn't mean the Bush Administration, does he? Obama's State of the Union Address: Says He Won't Quit Blames Bush for the mess the country's in and lies about the Supreme Court's recent decision and foreign campaign contributions. So, what else is new? It's the first of the year,
so that must mean Gitmo's closed. The prison became a symbol for detainee abuses under George W. Bush Detainees to be housed in your back yard. That is if you live in Illinois. Obama Makes History, Again! Gallup Poll shows Obama Approval Slips to 47% That's the lowest any president has ever dropped in this time frame in history (at least the lowest since they've been taking polls)!

(and it's not even Christmas yet) Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize OSLO (AP) - President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples, and he's not George Bush." the Norwegian Nobel Committee said, citing his outreach to the Muslim world and attempts to curb nuclear proliferation, and he's not George Bush. Obama, the first man ever to curb nuclear proliferation and bring about peace in the Middle East, joins the ranks of such other great peace makers as Jimmy Carter, Yasser Arafat and Al Gore. And, he's not George Bush "The Nobel committee praised Obama's creation of "a new climate in international politics, and he's not George Bush" and said he had returned multilateral diplomacy and institutions like the U.N. to the center of the world stage." And, they went on, "He's not George Bush." |

I'd
like to put something here about the current ACORN scandal (the current one,
because with such a corrupt organization with goals such as theirs to
enslave the poor and keep them dependant on Big Government there were plenty
of scandals before and I'm sure there are more to come) but I can't beat
what's been done by
James O'Keefe
Chaos for Glory: My Time With ACORN A famous community organizer once said, “The only way to upset the power structure in your communities is to goad them, confuse them, irritate them and, most of all, make them live by their own rules. If you make them live by their own rules, you destroy them.” -Saul Alinsky in Rules for Radicals |

When Barack Obama did it, it was called "Community Organizing" Now they accuse a truly grassroots effort of being "Astroturfing". |

"New" torture techniques call for new investigations First we heard about the horrific "dog leash torture", not to mention the infamous "wearing your underwear on your head" torture. Then there was the dastardly "caterpillar" torture, which it turns out, may not have even every been done (but the mere thought of it ought to be a crime). Now, new information which the "Department of Justice and the leadership of the Congressional intelligence committees have had the full report since 2004, and the full committees have had the report since 2006". Rumor has it that this "new" torture involves second hand smoke. Can you imagine anything so cruel? Although "since 2004" and "since 2006" is not new, what's new is the need to keep hate bush alive. If the "Ted Kennedy Memorial Healthcare Bill" (have they re-named it yet?) has to wait for Attorney General Eric Holder to put the CIA and Bush Administration on trial in order to divert our attention, it may be too late for that bill. But let's just hope the timing isn't such that that trial doesn't conflict with a Michael Jackson murder trial on TV.
